Refund & cancellation policy
Start with one draft before placing a bulk order. This lets you assess the service before committing to a larger package.
1. Single-draft orders
For a single draft, no change-of-mind refund is available once the draft has been emailed to you. Before delivery, email us to request cancellation. We will confirm the work completed and any fair, disclosed charge for services already provided, subject to your applicable legal rights.
2. Bulk orders of five or more drafts
For a bulk order of five or more drafts, no change-of-mind refund is available after three hours from successful payment. The system allocates the work and reserves team members’ working slots. The cutoff is calculated from the payment confirmation timestamp, not when you open the invoice or email.
To cancel within three hours, email your request promptly. We use the time your cancellation email reaches our mailbox, not when our team reads it. Requests received within this period are eligible for cancellation and a refund of the cancelled bulk order. Mandatory consumer rights may provide a longer cancellation period.
3. Rights that remain protected
These commercial cutoffs do not remove statutory cancellation rights, remedies for deficient or undelivered services, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Allocating staff time alone does not override those rights.
If you are a consumer covered by the UK distance-contract rules, a service contract generally has a 14-day cancellation period from the contract date. If you expressly request work to begin during that period and then cancel, a proportionate charge may be payable for services actually supplied, where legally permitted. Loss of the cancellation right after full performance requires the legally required consent and acknowledgement. We obtain these separately before starting early work; a three-hour cutoff alone does not waive them.
4. How to request cancellation or report a problem
Email info@firstdraftz.ai with your name, invoice number, package, payment timestamp and request. You do not need to give a reason when exercising a statutory cancellation right. If the service was not delivered or does not match the agreed scope, describe the issue so we can review the appropriate remedy.

5. Approved refunds
Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed, within the legally applicable deadline. For valid statutory service cancellations, repayment will be made within 14 days of being informed of cancellation, less any lawful proportionate charge. Payment-provider processing and currency conversion may affect when funds appear in your account.
